Maintenance

From the very beginning in 1891, special attention has been given to care and maintenance of Woodside Cemetery.  The grave sites are well arranged for maximum beauty and carefully placed so loved ones may visit the grave sites when they desire.

The Woodside Cemetery location --  about 135 acres -- was selected because of the superior drainage it has.  Often cemeteries, selected with less care, have water problems and caskets are damaged or deteriorate because of the underground water.  This is not a problem for Woodside.

Permanent and professional care of all grave sites now and in the years to come is important.  Woodside's Board of Directors have allocated 10 percent of all sales to be placed in a trust fund to guarantee permanent care for Woodside Cemetery.  The fund assures that grave sites are attractive and that the cemetery grounds will continue to be given professional attention.

Sometimes members of a family wish special care to be provided for specific lots in addition to the excellent attention given the cemetery grounds.  We are happy to make such arrangements but, of course, an extra charge is made for the special service requested.  Persons, who prefer, may arrange for special care or endowed special care.  Please contact our office staff for all the details regarding this service.
