Michael Patrick Hearlihy, 62, of German Township, died on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. He was born in Lakewood, Ohio on March 26, 1960.
Michael graduated from Monroe High School in 1978. His career path was varied, having worked for Butternut Bread, he was also an HVAC installer and most recently worked for the City of West Chester Road Department. Michael enjoyed being outdoors, whether working in his vegetable garden or hunting. He had been very active in youth sports as a coach for his children and he had served as president of Valley View Youth Baseball Association. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren's sports and other activities.
Michael loved his family and will be greatly missed by his wife, Patty (Riley) Hearlihy; children, Randy (Helen Thompson) Hearlihy & Jamie Hearlihy; grandchildren, Liam Hearlihy, Clara Hearlihy, Denton Hearlihy & Alexis Sellars; mother, Suzanne (Ulliman) Hearlihy; sisters, Teresa (Dwayne) Myers & Kathy (Brian) Schlemmer; and many other loving family & friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Hearlihy.
Memorial Service will be Monday, February 20, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Wilson-Schramm-Spaulding Funeral Home, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd (at Bonita Dr.), Middletown, with Pastor Bobby Reed officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
