Richard T. (Dick) Linkins, 99, a lifelong resident of Middletown, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at Arlington Pointe. He was born to Thomas D. & Marie (Kohler) Linkins on October 1, 1924.

Dick graduated from Middletown High School in 1943 and then joined the U.S. Navy, where he served until 1946. He married Mary Margaret Hawkins on August 9, 1947. That same year Dick began working for Armco Steel Corporation and retired as first roller in 1986 after 39 years with the company. He was an active, lifelong member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Dick is survived by his son, Michael R. Linkins of Spring, Texas and daughter, Sue Ellen Linkins, of Magnolia, Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Mary Margaret (Hawkins) Linkins in December 2005.

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 212 S. Broad St., Middletown, with Pastor Jean Vargo officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery and Arboretum.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 212 S. Broad St, Middletown, Ohio 45044.
