Mervel “Merv” Patterson, of Middletown, Ohio; went to be with the lord on Monday, December 11th, 2023, following a short illness at Atrium Medical Center. He was born on January 24th, 1943. Merv was a father, grandfather, and a great-grandfather. He was a butcher and also worked at Magnode for many years. He loved spending time with family. He is survived by his sisters, Wanda Pelfrey, Frankie Richardson, two children, Michael (Lisa) Patterson, Renay Patterson-Duhamel, grandchildren, Jamie Patterson, Conner Patterson, Machele Duhamel, Danny Duhamel, Timmy Duhamel, great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Merv is preceeded in death by his parents, Andrew Patterson, Elizza (Lawson) Patterson, brothers, Bobby Patterson, Ottis Patterson, Burnard (Pat) Patterson, and his sister, Phyllis Meehan. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 18th, 2023, at Woodside Cemetery. The service will begin at 2:00 PM, with Pastor James Anderson as the officiant.
