July 1, 1971 ~ January 4, 2023 (age 51)

Jettie Allen Bailey, Sr., age 51 of Clayton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at the Dayton V.A. Lakeside Manor, Hospice of Dayton Ohio. He was born July 1, 1971, to the late Audria Jean and Jettie Bailey.

Jettie graduated from Middletown High School 1989 with academic honors. Jettie served in the US Army and was stationed at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii, in the Military Intelligence Division, during the Gulf War Operation Desert Storm.

Jettie was a man of great virtue and loved all. He served as president of the Middletown Pee Wee Football Program and loved mentoring the Pee Wee football coaches.

Jettie also had a career that he loved where he was a General Manager at Taco Bell. He always wanted to help and give guidance to the young people he encountered. He loved his family tremendously. His grandchildren were his most precious gems. Jettie loved playing games and doing Tik Toks with them. He loved barbecuing and cooking for his family during the holidays. Jettie never missed an opportunity to laugh and joke with family and friends. Jettie spoke of his children as his most beautiful gifts he could ever receive. Jettie was a loving, caring and a compassionate person always wanting to share what he knew with everyone. Jettie enjoyed his family to the utmost and made sure they understood his love for Jesus Christ.

Jettie was preceded in death by his uncle Eugene Bailey and his brothers, James Henry Bailey and Jettie Harold Bailey.

Jettie leaves to cherish a beautiful wife of 33 years, Shaunteé S. Bailey and three amazing children, Chesley M. Bailey (April M.), Courtney L. Bailey and Jettie A. Bailey Jr.; 3 brothers, Dwight E. Bailey (Deborah), Pastor Michael A. Bailey (Patsy) and Eugene A. Bailey (Nicole); 4 sisters, Louise Truss (Joe), Carol Howard, Collis Newland (Marvin) and Delsia Taylor; grandchildren, Carter Z. Epperson, Cameron L. Epperson, Kamille L. Bailey-Wright, Kamiylla M. Wright, Kaden K. Wright and Audria E. Bailey and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and many friends.

Jettie will forever be remembered by his family and friends for his smile, and the joy and laughter he brought into all our lives.
