Margaret Williams, age 103, of Middletown, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. She was born January 25, 1921 in Blytheville, Arkansas, the daughter of James and Mandy (Jackson) Applegate.
Margaret was a member at Bethlehem Temple Church. She was a spirit filled child of the most High God. Margaret worked at a boarding house as a cook. She was a loving wife, mother, homemaker and seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Laurence Williams and Benjamin F. Tillis; daughters, Earnesteen, Mary, Margaret and Eunice; son's Roy Lee, Jeffrey, Clarence and Curby; grandchildren, Cleo De'Shawn Robinson, Shana Robinson, Michael Morgan and Jermaine Tillis; siblings, Laura Dale, Henryetta Jackson and Percy Jefferson.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Bobbie Burton, Amanda Tillis, Betty Tillis, Christine Morgan and Gloria Higgins; sons, Ben Tillis and Larry Tillis; grandchildren, Alea, Tyree, Ashley, Joy, Little Lawrence, Sheila, Donna, Kathleen, Kirby Jr., Carol, Toya, Terrence, Annette, Erro, Lisa, Tiny, Curtis, Roosevelt Jr., Earnest, Dale, Terry, Richard, Darnell, Latoya, Sophia, Cedric, Darian, April, Shanette, Marcus and Raymond; and a host of great grandchildren and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be 11 am - 12 pm on Friday, June 21, 2024 at Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home, 517 South Sutphin Street, Middletown, OH 45044. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial will be at Woodside Cemetery.
